Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief.  By Rick Riordan. This book is about when someone steals Zeus's lightening bolt powers. I would recommend it, especially if you like Greek mythology.   Tiaan Foster

 Crash    By William Taylor   It's about a kid called Poddy who is in a crash.  A good book to read because it has a lot of interesting big words and the story jumps around a lot.   Kaelib Paul 

The Emperor’s Code, the 39 Clues.  By Gordan Korman    It's about Amy and Daniel.  Daniel gets sent out to a military base with a guy called Jonah and almost dies.  I would recommend it is you like mysteries.  Daniel Way 

Beast Quest.  The Shade of Death.  Krabb, Master of the Sea.  By Adam Blade.  I would recommend this book to boys or those who like giant mutant monsters.  Ethan Johnson 

When Mum Went Funny.  By Jack Lasenby.   About a family.  The dad left the mum and she starts to come up with all these crazy ideas about the kids like feeing them to the lions.  I would recommend it to people who like random or funny things.  Ben Steele 

Pony Club Secrets 7.  Fortune and the Golden Trophy.  Stacey Gregg.  This is a series.  I would recommend it to people who like horses or adventure.    Tiffany Owen 

The Bad Beginning.  Lemony Snicket.  About three orphans, Violet, Sunny and Klaus.  Their mum and dad die when the house burns down and they are adopted by Count Olaf.  He doesn’t really like kids so he just makes them do his chores!  I would recommend it to people who like sad stories or adventure stories.  Aibee Serra

 

 

Indiana Jones and the Pyramid of the Sorcerer.  By Ryder Windham

Indiana is doing an arcaeologicl job and gets arrested because there is a wanted poster that looks just like him except for a pimple. I would recommend this book for people who like action and adventure. Thomas Cullen O'Brien

The Magic Faraway Tree  By Enid Blyton

This is a collection of 3 books.  The first is about 3 kids who move out to the country and find an enchanted wood and a tree with lots of people living in it.  I would recommend it to people who like mysteries adventure and fantasy.  Kate Fisher

My Haunted House By Angie Sage

About Araminta, Drac and Tabby and their adventures in a haunted house.  Tabby doesnt like the house so they create 'Aramintas awful ambush' and capture 2 ghosts that become helpers.  I would recommend this book if you like adventures, ghosts and vampires- its not horror though because its not scary.  Aleiscia Phillips. 

George Speaks  By Dick King-Smith

About a baby who can talk, spell and read when he is 4 weeks old.  Its funny.  I would recommend it if you like funny books.  Georgia GIbbons

The Mare's Tale By Darrel and Sally Odgers

A horse, Helen, has a foal and a dog, Trump, has to look after her while she is having the foal.  I would recommend this book to people who like animals.  Grace Wilson-Jones

Mrs Fish the Ape and Me The Dump Queen  By Ann Martin

A girl called Julie lives by a dump because her dad works there.  She gets teased at school because of this.  I would recommend this to people who like comedy and adventure.  Cassy Jones

Water Horse  By Dick King-Smith

About some children who go to the beach and find a mermaids purse.  They take it home and put it in the bathtub and it turns into a strange creature.  I would recommend  this to people who like mystery and adventure.  Ashley Spillane

The BFG  By Roald Dahl

The BFG goes out at night with other giants.  Sophie sees the BFG and gets snatched.  She describes him as 'a big fast tall thing that gallops across the hills'.  I like the strange words Roald Dahl uses like 'scrumdidleyumptious' and 'bone cruncher'.  I would recommend this book to people who like fantasy and giants.  Morgan Chandler-Bruce

Jane Blonde Sensational Spylet.  By Jill Marshall

About a girl who finds out she is a spylet and meets a wierd woman who wears strange clothes.  I would give this book 4.5/5 and recommend it to people who like adventure and mystery.   Isabella Rolland

Terrible Tudors  By Martin Brown 

It's about history.  If people are naughty, they get their heads chopped off!  I would recommend it to people who like gruesome things.  Liam Gelderman.

Bugworld  By Andy Dixen
