Education for sustainability (EFS)

Dear Community of Woodhill School,

This year we have a group called EFS – This stands for Education for Sustainability.

Sustainability means living in a way now, that allows future generations to live well; it means to use things in a way that preserves and enhances them for future generations.

To start Woodhill School down the path of sustainability we are going to create veggie gardens, orchards, and a native garden to encourage wildlife.

You can help us do this!

We are looking for a range of plants and materials to get some of our projects underway.

Just click on the link to file that says "Dear Woodhill School Community" and fill out the form to indicate what YOU could contribute to help make WHS a more sustainable school.

Thank you for your help and watch this space for future projects!

WE NEED YOU!

Keep all of your McCain Veggie's barcodes. Cut them out and bring them to Mr. Meadows. Woodhill School is registering with the McCain Veggie patch program and needs barcodes to trade for garden supplies.

Tell all your whanau, your friends and your neighbours. The more veggies you eat the more our school can grow!
