Hi Everyone

Below are some photos of how our wonderful students learn through the key competencies. View our KC trees with the leaves growing on a weekly basis. The yellow leaf is a self assessment on how your child practices the KC's. The statement starts with I CAN... The orange leaf is a peer assessment when a friend observes them practising the KC's. The green leaf is done when the teacher observes the KC's being practised in class. The photos show how important it is for our students to remain engaged in their learning. We try to create a learning zone where the whole class remains focused and on task throughout the day.

I have also attached the latest published work of ENERGY! The children learned what it means to make a HYPOTHESIS and they observed how their understanding of energy grew since their hypothesis on day 1. Due to our time frame I typed up their work and made minimum adjustments to the published copy. If your child's work is not included it simply means he or she was absent at the time, and that's alright. Have fun reading their understanding of energy:)
